    If you are looking for the perfect item to give as an important gift for your workshop guru, or perhaps even for yourself, maybe you should consider the gift of a hand crafted wood tool chest made by the 102-year-old Dayton company, H. Gerstner & Sons.

    This family created and still family owned company is now the only surviving maker of crafted wood tool chests in the United States.

    The chest were so popular to true workshop enthusiasts, the Wright Brothers purchased one of Gerstner’s tool chests to use in their bicycle shop.

    I found this website for H. Gerstner & Sons while looking for a crafted tool chest for my husband, who is a tool maker. He will be able to use the chest I bought for him for many years and then pass it down to our son.
