Make your own sawhorses quickly and easily at home

Need sawhorses and don't have any? Well all you need is five 8' 2x4's, and some 3" screws.

Consider the instructions that follow and you can customize the lengths and heights to suit your individual needs.

  • Cut the 2x4's into six 32" lengths and eight 26-1/4" lenghts
  • Screw the 32" pieces into an I-beam shape
  • Drill pilot holes for legs
  • Attach the legs to the I-beams with 3" screws

The screws and the top of the I-beam will hold the legs in position and stabilize them.

Now you have your own custom made sawhorses!
