I just bought a new house and decided I wanted to do some remodeling. I own my own cabinet shop so I knew I would want to make my own custom cabinets in the kitchen. So I did so. I wanted to put the cabinets in the kitchen before I did any more work in it. I wanted to have it all in place before I went with a color to paint and which types of appliances I wanted to buy.
After I installed the cabinets I got into a little more work that I planned in the rest of the kitchen. I had to rip the ceiling down and put up new drywall. Before I started that I tried to cover the cabinets with plastic and drop clothes. I started to rip out the ceiling and noticed that the drop clothes and plastic weren't protecting my brand new cabinets. Dust and debris were still getting inside and all around it. I had to think of something else to protect my cabinets.
I went to the hardware store to see what they had and a worker suggested I use a saran wrap. He said that Glad Press and seal was the best way to keep the doors sealed to keep out dust. I want and bought a couple rolls of it. The saran wrap sticks right to my cabinets and kept the inside dust free. To this day I always use a press and seal saran wrap to protect the things I need when working.
