He Still Makes Handcrafted Walking Sticks

Despite the availability of metal walking sticks largely used these days, some people still have the heart to pursuit their interests and make handcrafted wooden sticks.

An example would be Bowie resident John Dodge, who goes out on trail for a few days every week to manually search for large branches and pieces of wood that he uses for the walking sticks. Since he started the craft, he has already created 200 walking sticks, each of which is unique.
