As a general contractor, I go through quite a bit of utility blades. I use them for almost everything, ranging from cutting and installing drywall, to cutting pieces of vinyl siding. I always use the Stanley brand utility blades. In my experience, they are the most reliable blade.
As you could imagine, I spend a good amount of money on blades. My suggestion to anyone that uses blades would be to buy your blades in bulk. They only cost around $12 for a pack of 100 blades. Now if you buy the 5 blade packs, you will end up paying around $25 to get 100 of them.
That kinda speaks for itself. Your most likely going to use all 100 blades one day or another. You might as well save yourself some money. This isn't only for people who use them on an everyday basis, but for any homeowner who has a garage that they work in from time to time. The 100 pack of utility blades from Stanley is a great value.
