When I was in high school we had a woodshop class. It was actually pretty interesting. I remember we would make airplanes and clocks and benches. My favorite project was when we made a bench. It folded and everything. I remember I was so proud of myself.
What we did was first got our wood. We then cut it to the right size. We all made the same size and color. We made it from like a pattern. So then we would cut out the wood for our legs and supports. And then we made the seat. We had all the wood cut out first and then we would assemble it.
We put everything together and screw everything together. It folded together so it was kind of difficult. After itwas all together and able to be sat on we got to put our names on it. We put it through a machine and it carved our name on it. It was a CNC machine. It was really cool.
So if your interested in getting in to a woodshop class, do it. I didn't think I would like it but it is really fun. You make things that you never thought you would be able to. It made me proud of myself.
