George Trout, a well known woodworker in Delaware County is now at its peak of his career. When a kid say "I'm going to Trout" it means furniture making taught by Trout. At his 23rd year of teaching in Springfield High he estimated to have taught 3,000 students on handling tools and shaping wood. OF all the students of Trout about half a dozen had made it to become professional carpenters and cabinet makers. Some of their works were featured at woodworking magazines twenty nine times.
