Many people who own home workshops often have a small general contracting business or work for one. When your working at another persons home, it can be very confusing and time consuming to work out a messy and unorganized trailer.
I worked for a guy who build custom cabinets and trim. One my first day on the job we went to a house that was being built from the ground up. Our job was to install the custom made kitchen cabinetry. Since it was my first day I made most of the trips to the trailer to get supplies.
When he sent me to the trailer to get some supplies for the first time I was shocked! The trailer was so messy! I couldn't even walk in the trailer let alone find the tools I was looking for! I can't work in that kind of mess. I like to have a clean trailer that way your in and out with the tools you need. Makes for a better work day.
I went through the work week dealing with the mess. By time the weekend came and I had a day off, I was sick of the mess and decided to come into work and organize it. The following Monday and everyday after went alot better now that I could move around the trailer. The trailer stayed that way the entire time I worked there!
